THE MARINADE FOR THE SHRIMP: Combine 1 cup of either lime or lemon juice with ½ cup of honey and the 2-3 teaspoons of minced garlic then salt and pepper to taste and blend. Place the cleaned and deveined shrimp in the marinade for 30-60 minutes. PREPARE THE SHRIMP: Heat a fry pan, no oil needed and preferably a cast iron skillet to medium heat. Place you shrimp in the pan and make sure each shrimp comes into contact with the fry pan bottom and not stacked on top of each other. You want a little caramelization on your shrimp. Fry in batches if you have to. Cook for approximately 2-3 minutes per side and baste as you go then flip and repeat. When all shrimp are cooked, set them aside on a plate, not on paper towels and prepare the linguine. PREPARE THE LINGUINE: After your linguine has been prepared per instructions on the box and drained, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a separate non-stick fry pan. Once the mixture is hot, DO NOT BURN OR BOIL, place your linguine in the fry pan, salt and pepper to taste, toss and add the broccoli florets and the frozen peas. Heat on medium heat for 10 minutes tossing every couple of minutes until your broccoli is done. Then add the shrimp, toss and heat for an additional 5 minutes and serve.
